Besides great fishing spots along the Klutina River, King For A Day Campground offers a large range of activities including fishing charters, river rafting, hiking, bird-watching, and an annual salmon bake held every 4th of July with a fireworks display to end the night.
CHARTERS
Join us for a charter down the amazing Klutina River!
Take a raft down one of Alaska's rivers famous for its king and red salmon. Charters stop at the hotspots along the trip, providing you with multiple opportunities to catch the big one. You'll receive professional one-on-one guidance and we'll provide you with all the necessary gear.
Full and half days available.
ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY SALMON BAKE AND POTLUCK
If you happen to be staying with us during the 4th of July, come and join us for our Annual 4th of July Salmon Bake and Potluck. We'll be cooking up some of the freshly caught red salmon over a grill and serving up delicious food. While bringing something isn't a requirement, we do ask that everyone participating bring at least a dish to share.
At the end of the day, we celebrate America's independence with a fireworks show fun for the whole family.
